CAN A BUS STOP ALSO FUNCTION AS A COMMUNITY GARDEN, a compostation plot and a base for research?

During Bergen Design Festival we will be exploring the extra potential and multi-functionality of the public bus stops located between Hordaland Kunstsenter and Nordnes bydelshus at Klosteret. 

The daily workshops are open to the public – local residents, designers, students and anyone interested are invited to join in building and installing the two urban activation stations: Plantation and Compostation stations.

 

The workshopa are run by Philipp von Hase (designer and technician, Aldea) & Inge Fornes (architect and founder of KOMiGjEN/Gjenbruksakademiet), and supported by Visjon Vest and Bergen kommune.
